About the app
Falcon Market is an independent student exchange board and is not affiliated with NYU. Anyone can browse public listings. Posting and profile editing require an eligible NYU Google account.
Posting offers
Keep your profile and offers accurate. Only post offers you intend and are able to complete. Do not impersonate others, publish someone else's contact details without permission, post spam, or use the app for fraud or harassment. You are responsible for following applicable university rules and laws.
Arranging an exchange
You agree on the amount, rate, payment, and transfer directly with the other person. Falcon Market does not hold funds, transfer Falcons, provide escrow, or verify that an exchange has been completed. A listed rate is an offer, not a guaranteed transaction. Check the details with the other person before proceeding.
Keeping offers current
Offers expire after seven days unless renewed. Mark an offer filled when it is complete, or remove it when it is no longer available. Editing an offer does not renew it. Removed offers are hidden from the market but remain in the database, as explained in the Privacy Policy.
Availability
The app is still in development. Features may change and service may be interrupted. The displayed market rate is calculated from listings and is not a record of completed trades.
