Falcon Market · Updated 10 September 2026
Falcon Market helps students post offers and arrange Falcon exchanges. This page explains what information the app uses and what other people can see.
Google sign-in
When you sign in, Google shares your account identifier, email address, email verification status, and basic profile information such as your name and profile picture with Supabase, our authentication provider. We use your identity and verified NYU email to sign you in, keep your account connected to your profile and offers, and control who can make changes.
We request only identity, email, and basic profile permissions. We do not request access to your Gmail messages, contacts, Google Drive, or calendar. Your Google password is not shared with Falcon Market. Google profile information is not automatically copied to your public marketplace profile.
Your public profile and offers
Your chosen display name, bio, and contact details are public, including to people who are not signed in. You choose which WhatsApp number, Instagram handle, Facebook link, or contact email to share. Your sign-in email stays in the authentication system unless you separately enter it as a public contact email.
Active offers show your profile, amount, rate, note, and listing times. Only share information you want other people to see. Messages and exchanges happen outside Falcon Market; we do not receive the content of those conversations through the app.
Storage and service providers
Supabase stores authentication records, profiles, and offers. Vercel hosts the website. These services process requests and may keep technical logs, such as IP addresses, browser information, and request times, to operate and protect their services. Google processes sign-in under its own privacy policy.
We use browser storage to keep you signed in and remember your light or dark mode preference. The app has no advertising or third-party analytics integration.
How information is used and shared
We use account information to provide sign-in and ownership controls, and publish the profile and offer details you choose to share. Service providers process information needed to run the app. The operator may access records to provide requested support, investigate security or abuse, or meet legal requirements.
We do not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or use it to train AI models. Falcon Market's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Retention and your choices
You can edit your public profile and remove offers. Offers expire from the public market after seven days unless renewed. Expiring, filling, or removing an offer does not delete its database record. Profiles, authentication records, and offer history are retained until deleted; the app does not currently delete them automatically. Rate snapshots are retained for 30 days.
To request access to or deletion of your account data, contact the operator using the support details below. We may need to confirm that the account belongs to you. There is no self-service account deletion button. Copies in service-provider logs or backups may remain until those providers' retention periods end.
You can also remove Falcon Market's Google access in your Google Account connections. This does not by itself delete marketplace records. Contact links open external services whose own privacy policies apply.
